Dr Bailey was responsible for the project management of the creation of an online training module as part of Systemic Action for Gender Equality (SAGE) Horizon 2020 project. This consisted of three components on: change management, unconscious bias, and gender in research contexts. Jemimah’s expertise, along with her creative approach to the project, demonstrated her collaborative attitude to solving problems and producing high quality outputs.
Jemimah provided a stimulating and informative workshop for a group of PhD students from social and computer science. We had great feedback. She was really adaptive and turned it around quickly to an online format due to the Covid situation.
Dr Bailey was able to give our group a concise and clear understanding of bias and how it affects women. This aided our understanding of the issue and allowed us to better plan events and sessions for International Women's Day in 2022. At our request this was a short session but even so it has opened several areas of future work planning. Dr Bailey was excellent engaging all participants and really set the issue of bias in context for our work. Highly recommended.
